How to measure: wrap a tape measure around your writing hand at the widest part of the palm, just below the knuckles, without the thumb. Your glove size is that number in inches.

Choose by the glove number, which is the same in every country. The size letter follows the maker's scale, which runs one letter larger than the usual women's letter size (for example, a usual women's M is a 7 or 7½ here).

Leather gives slightly with wear, so a snug first fit is right. Between sizes? Choose the larger size if you like a relaxed fit or have long fingers.

Hand and length measurements allow about 0.5 cm (0.2 in).
